We miss you!

I've always wanted a sister, yet GOD gave me a brother. I'm not complaining- he's awesome but I've always wondered what it'd be like if I had one. That's why I'm very grateful and happy to be blessed with great girl friends and amazing best friends -they're like the sisters I never had. "My sister from another mother."


I've been always thankful that I can be myself around such amazing, crazy, fun, and supportive people. They have been with me thru busy and lazy days, drunk and sobber nights, hot and cold weather, and the good times and bad. They saw me at my worst and never left, I'd climb mountains, jump cliffs and sail the ocean for these girls.


Happy to have spent Valentine's with them, celebrating the love of our friendship.

The Vow

I just finished watching the movie "THE VOW" .. and ohhhmmmmyyyy did I cry. I cried so much! Lucky enough no one can see me at this very moment because I look like a squashed tomato! haha. It was so good. If you haven't watch it yet, you better stop reading this now and get your butt off that bed/chair and go get yourself a ticket to the movie, it's really worth it if you're a hopeless romantic like me. ;')

Let me share with you some of the memorable lines in the movie,

There’s something about this movie that made me think about the last time I was ultimately in love with someone. As much as I hate to admit this, I miss being in love. After years of ups and downs, I’ve learned to pick myself out of certain situations just to get by. Instead of dealing with it up front.

I don’t miss the fights. I don’t miss the disagreements. I don’t miss crying. I don’t miss the heartache.

but.. .

I miss the knots I get in my stomach when I realize I’m in love. I miss spoiling someone with my affection. I miss the “I love you’s.” I miss the connection. I miss longing for someone. I miss falling head over heels. I miss looking into someone’s eyes. I miss.. . feeling.

I’ve let go of every single person I’ve gotten emotionally involved with for the same reason. I’ve shut my eyes tight that I’ve missed out on what could’ve, would’ve been. I’ve managed to push everyone I’ve ever loved, away. Along with every potential love that’s come into my life.

How do I open my heart up again?

But if in anyway I'd wake up and Channing Tatum would tell me he was my husband, and we were married.. There is NO WAY I would question that. ;))

Hey Day Dreamer

Have you ever just laid awake in bed, and thought for a moment, and realized that you have no idea who the fuck you are anymore?

Or how much you push yourself to the breaking point, you feel like going to lose things that you’ve almost killed yourself for. 

Or ever wanted so much at once but you can't just have them all? And you question yourself on what you really want in life? Where you see yourself? Where you really want to see yourself doing.

Or just felt that you're slowly breaking away.

Have you had that feeling like everything’s collapsing in and there’s nothing you can do? Nothing goes right? You feel like you're STUCK, standing still and ready to break down? So you said to yourself..

Urghhhh. I badly need a dose of some good hug right now. =/ Life is hard.

Living in a small city like Dumaguete, you can't really flaunt just anything you like to wear. People here enjoy wearing shorts/ jeans, a comfy t-shirt and a pair of slippers on a regular day. 

Living in this city for 23 years of my life, I know that these people have those animal eyes that can instantly spot you like a prey - knowing me, I don't like people looking at me like they want to eat me alive. Really! I have a lot of insecurities, and being a scene stealer is far of what I want myself to be. I'm just happy being on the sidelines. thank you. :) haha

Last week, my brother wanted to go shoe shopping with me, I leaped out of joy! Finally, I had someone to go to the mall with. I have been bumming around the house lately, that I really wanted to go out but I had no one to go with. 

Spell loser? M-E. haha.

I decided to wear these palazzo pants, (remember them? read here) they absolutely have a pop of color, which says I'm ready for summer.

I chose to wear such because I was thinking; it was a weekday and I know there'd be a few people at the mall at that time so I had no problem with those "animal eyes" that I was talking about earlier. But to my surprise, the mall was packed with students because of a certain show. O.o 


 -Kill me now! that's what I thought when we arrived.


I looked down, and I realized I was wearing an animal printed top -I'm an animal too! (that's what I thought) HAHAHA. So keribelssss na!! I smiled at those deathly eyes, flipped my hair and walked on.

I think I just blabbered so much and made a nonsense post! HAHA.

Even with all the festivities during the Sinulog weekend, I didn't miss the opportunity to meet old (age ba yun? joke!) and not so new friends -Hindi nyo ma gets? explain ko later. hehe

So first we met up with Mr. Lord Allen Hernandez. -Yes! "lord" is his name. Wag questionin may birth certificate siya. haha. Mr. Davao, Kuya Allen (naks naman pare) is the man behind Pinoy Blabbermouth -read his blog guys, he's witty and funny. Pero sorry girls, taken na po si kuya. HAHA

I knew kuya since way back in college because of my friends who were also from Davao. But he tells me, he knew me from another friend of his -which we will not discuss. HAHA

Alexis and I have been friends since Friendster, yes! dear old friendster. She's my not so new friend- get's nyo na? Go!! Talino nyo! hehe. We've known each other for years, but our relationship had only been virtually and on phone calls, but I treat her as one of my closest friends -she knows my past and I know hers. (Pakk!! Criminal? haha) So yeaahhh, FINALLY. I was really hoping we could get a chance to catch up, and we really did! She's just here for a month's vacation with her family and her boyfriend -their living in Iceland by the way, but there pure Pinoys - BISAYA by blood, she's from Iligan and her boyfriend is from Cebu.

Chic Safari

Ok go... On the 3rd day of Sinulog - 

The Street Parade (see photo diary here) colorful, rhythmic, festive. The streets of Cebu were ALIVE and kicking -because again we need to blaze the bigger sea of people as well as the heat of the sun, it was proper to wear very comfortable clothes.

As we were dressing up, we realized that both of us where getting in on natural and nude tones (best friends think a like), feel na feel lang ang "tourista" mode on a safari. Well I think it is appropriate to call the streets of Cebu a jungle at that time, with all the wild people (festive as they are) and the scorching heat.

I had to wear flats!! With all the walking we did, my body wouldn't survive the pain of wearing heels or wedges. My ever comfortable Pink Primas were the best pair for the occasion.

What's awesome having best friends?? You get to have added siblings- another Sister! And with siblings you could just borrow things, right? With Jeemah, I get to raid her growing collection of accessories (knowing me, I'm the plain, less- accessory type of girl. hehe)
